Some photographs were never taken. Some moments never had the chance to exist. Kindred Kameo was created to bring those connections together in a tangible way.
Kindred Kameo is a custom vintage-style black-and-white canvas portrait created using separate photographs of real people and carefully bringing them together into one imagined portrait. The people and the connections are real, even though the shared photographic moment may never have happened.
The idea was born from my own experience as an adoptee. I had always dreamed of having a photograph of myself with my biological parents, but that photograph simply did not exist. Kindred Kameo gave me a way to create that missing portrait and turn it into something physical I could actually hold, display, and keep.
While especially meaningful for adoptees, Kindred Kameo is for everyone. It can be created for NPEs, MPEs, LDAs, separated biological family members, parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren, siblings, loved ones who have passed away, or simply people who never had the opportunity to be photographed together.
Each Kindred Kameo is individually created from two, three, or more photographs you provide and transformed into a timeless vintage-style portrait. Because the quality, angle, lighting, and clarity of the original photographs matter, please send your photos before purchasing so I can confirm they will work for the design.

Because each portrait requires significant custom design time, all preview images sent for approval will be clearly marked “PROOF.” Your proof allows you to review your portrait before it is sent to print. The unmarked, high-resolution digital artwork is not included with your purchase and will not be provided or released. Once your proof is approved, the final unmarked artwork is sent directly into production for your physical canvas.
TURNAROUND TIME
Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for the complete process, including custom artwork creation, proof approval, printing, production, and delivery. Shipping carrier timelines are outside of my control and cannot be guaranteed. If your Kindred Kameo is intended for a birthday, holiday, anniversary, memorial, or another special occasion, please order well in advance. Delivery by a specific date cannot be guaranteed.
